Hi,

When settling in Singapore, one of the priorities is to be able to make phone calls.

How to proceed to get a landline installed in Singapore?

What are the mobile operators?

What is your average monthly budget?

Thank you in advance for sharing your experience,

Maximilien

You may opt for two main subscribers StarHub n SingTel. You can get absolutely free service which means using your landline number to call any local number in free but for that you need to have subscription of their either both or one service in addition ( wireless or fiber broadband internet connection AND/OR cable connection for television).

You may visit any of their retail shops near to your residential area and get the details including if any promotion going on.
Note: for each of the above connection comes with contract, if you terminate the contract prior to its expiry then there could be potential termination charges need to be paid. Can get the details during your visit their shop.

You have also some challengers:
M1 who is quite aggressive to gain market shares. It sell mobile plan and Internet broadband services.
MyRepublic, an Internet Service Provider, is selling Internet broadband including fixed line (and contrary to Starhub, it works to call outside of Singapore),

Hi,

I am new to the country and want to ask what is the best and most affordable internet provider in Singapore and how much usually we pay for Internet?

Thanks

StarHub, Singtel and M1 are three service providers, where as StarHub n SingTel are both providing this service in ages. You can visit their stores and see their scheme which will be fit into your requirements. As low as $29 to $119 per month u can go for depends on your requirements.
