Thank you but am not in bkk yet...is it possible to reach sukhumvit from airport by train?

benofsing

Yes, there is an airport link train that goes into town. But taxis in Bkk are not too ex too. So if you have more than 1 person, taxi is a better choice. Maybe about 300 baht ++ to Sukhumvit.

parindak

There is no train to Sukhumvit. Easiest way is taking taxi. Actually u can call taxi at the airport with 50 bt surcharge of the meter

Ruth_19

Thank u so much..

The trains I think run 0600 till 2400 but will require train change between lines.  Take airport to city line train to Phaya Thai station and change to BTS green line to station you desire located on Sukhumvit.  When you board the green line make sure you are going in Bearing direction not Mo Chit.

The airport rail link goes from Suvarnabhumi airport to BTS Phaya Thai (last station). From there, you can take the BTS skytrain to Sukhumvit road. How far you have to go depends on which Soi your destination is located near.

Thank you

Ahhmm..how bout the chatuchak market?..is it open everyday?..how to commute to chatuchak from sukhumvit?..thanks..

Jayinbkk

Weekends only for Chatuchak market. You can take either the BTS to Mor Chit station or the MRT to Chatuchak station, both are right next to the market.

parindak

Chatuchak market is opened for weekend definitely but not sure for weekday. Might ask other for confirmation.

For transportation, u can take BTS from Sukhumvit to Mo Chit station which is in front of the market
