thank you for popping by.
I dont see anything posted in regard to Personal/ Home/ Business security and considering todays break in and murder of people in Ho Chin Min City I felt it important to discuss this matter.
Are there any security companies that can install fire alarms/ sprinklers/ Security systems, supply security guards for a home or business, have a reaction force available to react to an alarm. Are the Police connected to these alarms/ Security companies?

If not then I would like to establish a company that offers all these services where we can train locals to fill the positions required, import all the equipment and fill this gap in the market.
Having lived in South Africa where these type of break-in-murders are common we are well experienced to do this.
Your thoughts would be much appreciated!

Dear, Mr. PeterVanAardt

I think your idea about security business in Viet Nam is very great. I love to share with you some opinion about this section from my own views.

Currently, I live in small neighborhood and my neighbors who are wealthy but always feel unsafe because of violation and crime in HCMC, We decide to hire two bodyguards who serve our small neighbors on 24 hours. Of course, we also built the gate for our neighborhood to limit strangers' entering. Therefore, I think your safety and security business in Viet Nam will be niche market. However, you have to deal with many issues from government policy for starting and maintaining this kind of business. The methods to build up the relationship with local government is totally different with the one you do in America, Europe,...My Vietnamese American friend is very stressful to handle this issue. Recently, human resource in Viet Nam is very big concern for local and foreign business. It is really difficult to hire the right people who will be responsible for running your business locally, I work for some Viet Nam company, and all of them has to face with many issue deal to human.

I hope your business be successful so that Vietnamese can use diverse services to assure their life and their family life as American, European,.. had.

Sincerely,

Trinh Trinh

thank you for your kind advice Trinh.

I would set up a training school to teach locals (i find ex soldiers or some times police to be the best candidates. They are used to regimental discipline and take orders.

We will offer everything from Personal VIP body guard protection to Business premises, home security and of course the large Resorts with gate and patrolling guards.

With the experience we have from Presidential Personal body guards to key state location security we have the expertise.
It is finding the right niche, location and of course the staff. Once one has crossed the hurdle of official bureaucracy.
Rather the same issues we face in Africa where corruption and 'shi shi' is an expected part of setting up any business.
Thanks again!
