Partner interviews

Lindsey.dV

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know here whether for an application for a life partner permit, it is now required for both partners to be interviewed?

It is my 3rd time applying for a LPP and I do not know what the major changes are since 2014.

Does anyone have any experience with this from the requirements at their embassies? What if one partner is applying in the country of origin and the other partner is in South Africa?
According to VFS, they mention that it MAY be required for partners to present themselves for an interview (if you can apply within SA), but it doesn't seem like this is the case for all applications.

Thanks! Lindsey

Just here to follow as I am busy preparing to renew my LPP and apply for my permanent.
However the forum seems a bit dead. :(

Hi There,

I am living in the UK and I am about to apply for the Life Partner Permit.

I understand that you apply for it under the Visitors Visa for more than 3 months- but which section is it? Is anyone else finding this confusing?

Thanks,

Emily
