Hello Sheila,

I can't help you as I'm not one in one of the designated occupations, and in any case your time frame has passed.

But for my own interest, could I ask if you found a solution to having your documents witnessed or certified? Since moving to Réunion I've been in the same situation 4 times. Once I had a translator certify a copy, another time my GP, a third time a notarius with whom we were doing some other business, and the fourth time when I needed a JP or equivalent, we flew to Mauritius and went to the Australian Embassy and were charged for the service. So if you've found a good solution I'd like to hear of it please.

Regards,

Geoff
