Designated 2 Billion, 2 little 2 late.
Zika in the U.S. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that 279 pregnant women in the United States and its territories have the virus, which is linked to birth defects and other health conditions. The CDC will now report all cases of pregnant women testing positive for the virus, regardless of whether they show symptoms. The news comes amid a funding debate between Congress and the Obama administration, which has asked for nearly $2 billion to combat the virus. (Nora Kelly, The Atlantic)

Let me see .....

500,000 visitors expected to an area where the virus is a clear problem, those being from all over the world.
The virus seems to be transmittable by sexual contact as well as a mosquito bite, meaning infected sexually active people could pass it around in their home countries, especially if they happen to be very naughty boys or girls who like to 'enjoy the company' of a lot of people.

I see no problem at all.

@Fred, it's a little to late for it is all over the World. It's a Catch 22 for it is in No Man's Land. The typical solution is throw Money at it. Abstinence is the key yet we know not for which Lock. I can't figure this one out. Everything is in place and it has been built so they will come. It's going to take a miracle for this to play out for it is not looking good. I imagine a Whole lot of last minute cancellations including the participants. As for me I am to old and I've had all the children I wanted in life for no one has spoken on how long it stays in the body, all I see is women are being told to hold off for a few years to have children and for me I am still working on what is a few years? Take care and Thanks for the interest.

Alascana

Well it has begun to show up in the States and who knows the effect from this point.
I wonder how many cases are not being reported.
