Uber vs Grab

Post new topic

Hi There,

I have the app for Grab, its pretty ok, sometimes they just take a long time to arrive or unavailable
Anyone Ubers? and had any bad experiences?

Just curious

Fred

Check what permissions their apps ask for, ask ask if they really need them.

I used Grab car for almost a year, their services used to be much better, but nowadays as you said they re taking more time, and also I found their new rates non sense.
I am using currently Uber, you could say on a daily basis, and I feel much more comfortable, specially that I don t have to use cash anymore as payment is by credit card.  And so far it doesn't take more then 7 min to get a driver, and less app bugs, I would have saved much more time if I used their services earlier.

Quality of uber is very variable. Some of the drivers are hopeless and i had several new ones try to cheat me. One went to my destination without  me and i was charged for that but refunded eventually. The app is buggy as well.

Ok I would give Uber a shot, I did grab car for the first time yesterday, pretty impressive and reached within 5 mins and it was a nice car : )
