Silicon Oasis - and life

Hi All

based in Siliocon oasis for now due to work, how easy is it to get everywhere and where is the best general area to go in the evenings bars etc? i heard of down town, irish bars etc, ? any willing guides out there

You just need a car. Silicon Oasis is still not connected with a metro. If you have a car then these places are not far off.
Downtown would be the nearest around 30 minutes of drive. A little further you can visit, Marina, JLT and JBR (~40 min drive). They are great hangout places.

In general, its well connected by roads (Mohd. Bin Zayed on one side and New Emirates Road on the other)
