Pau and horses

Hi All,

My name is Fiona. Myself and my boyfriend are moving to Pau in August with his work.

I was wondering if any of you know of a livery yard or stables to keep a horse near Pau.

I'm a bit nervous about the move as my French skills are very basic at the moment. I'm also nervous about leaving my job here. My aim is to get my French to a good level and hopefully get a job in my own field.

Dose the expat community regular meet up in Pau for socialising.

Any tips about Pau and horses would be much appreciated.

Pau is almost in the border of Spain.

Hope you can communicate your concerns in the local mairie but here in France i see a lot of horses! So i guess u wont have difficulty about that, just u needed detailed info.
