Bucharest vs Cluj

I am currently trying to decide which city to move to, Bucharest or Cluj. Can anyone give me their opinions on which is the better city to live in based on lifestyle, job opportunities (I am an accountant), salary differences, living expenses, the people living there, etc.

I appreciate any help :)

Cluj is going to have lower living expenses overall, less traffic/easier commuting and maybe a slightly slower or more relaxed pace in comparison to Bucharest.  Bucharest being the capital, will have usually more opportunities, both professionally and for personal interests.  Though as an accountant, I'd think there would be plenty of opportunities in Cluj also.  Salary will often depend on the company.  As for "the people living there", you'll find a significant "ethnic Hungarian" presence in Cluj, whereas in Bucharest you'll find more of an international community.

Hello,
For now i have some general information that could help. It depends of what you like more, a crowded and with more opportunities place (like Bucharest); or, a quieter city and maybe less opportunities (like Cluj). But i think Cluj, after Bucharest,  is very active on economics :

Also on your job profile, you can look here : http://www.financeprofessionals.ro/land … jari-cluj/
