• My performance as a lifeguard has a certain neutrality to armed conflict, but when it belonged to me play the national police to intervene on several occasions as an educator helicoportados command.
Our best weapon against a cituacion of these is the constant training of staff and the surprise at the operation.

Mario, thanks for sharing! :D

I think Mario (MERR) is an undercover agent of the CIA. Their Super Computers spotted the word 'Terrorist' on EB and immediately asked him to create an account here to uncover any possibilities of threat to the world.

Just my thought Mario :) I've been watching too many American TV shows ;)

It might be true because he just popped up out of nowhere and posted a multilingual message!
:o
Anyhow, Welcome to the blog Merr! :)

Mall denies tweets on female cashiers

Volunteers from the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (Haia) claimed they have reached agreements with malls in Yanbu to ban female cashiers from working there.
...However, a management official from one of the malls, who did not want to be identified, told Al-Hayat newspaper there had been no such agreement and that the volunteers were banned from entering his mall...

Now, these are the main problem! "Volunteers" from the Haia... ...as people say that most of these volunteers are former 'offenders' in the society...we could never tell what's their intention of becoming volunteers in the first place...well, going after female cashiers...is a great start for a list!

Jeddah water shortage returns

Expatriates and citizens have complained that water shortage has returned to parts of Jeddah.
"I had no one to bring water from the distribution center to my home, so I had to go myself at around noon and spend two hours in line only to be told I should come back after Maghreb prayer," Hoida Al-Husseini, a Saudi mother of five told Arab News.

...Another citizen complained that residents are still having to go to the distribution center to bring water trucks to their homes even after water pipes were laid throughout the city.
"It is almost daily that one reads in local papers that millions of riyals have been spent by Saudi authorities to fund water projects in Jeddah. One can see the streets being destroyed in order to lay pipelines, yet I am still standing in line to get a water truck," Bandar Al-Ghamdi said.
He added that he had originally sent his "haris" (janitor) for water earlier in the day but was told that daytime water supply was being distributed to Saudis and that non-Saudis would be served at night.

Online blackmail main cyber crime

Cyber crimes constituted 1 percent of all crimes registered in the Eastern Province, according to a police official.
“Online blackmail accounts for 79 percent of cyber crimes, possession or storage of pornography is at 7 percent and illegal transfers of money at 6 percent,” spokesman of Eastern Province Police Lt. Col. Ziyad Al-Ruqaity said in a statement to the Alsharq daily on Friday.
Experts in the police’s cyber cell uncover many crimes, not just identifying criminals and bringing them to justice, Al-Ruqaity added.

...Saudi Arabia has a developed system in place to track down cyber crimes, which are on the increase.

...was reported last month that a criminal court in Jeddah sentenced an expatriate guard to a jail term and flogging for facilitating the viewing of porn sites by young Internet users for money.
