Costs of various items in Ecuador?

I was trying to look online for a shopping circular (advertising page) in a couple of newspapers, but can't find any, so I am gonna pick y'all's brains.

Please, tell me the cost of the items and the city you are located in and if there is a manufacturer within the country or area for an alternative.  Thanks.

I am just trying to get a general idea of the costs of various items.

Levis's 501s
a cup of coffee in a restaurant
a movie on dvd
the latest Shakira cd
a tank of gasoline (make and model of vehicle also, please)
a can of cat food
a package of socks (volume too, please)
a box of tampons
a tube of toothpaste and a tooth brush
1 2 liter bottle of Coca-Cola
The latest Harry Potter novel or Twilight book (I can't think of what else is popular right now)
postage of a regular business envelope (both sent within Ecuador and back to the US)
postage on a post card (both sent within Ecuador and back to the US)
1 meter of cotton calico fabric
a skein of acrylic yarn
a set of jumper cables
a car battery
a stick of deodorant
a 4-pack of AA batteries
a taxi ride
bus fare
breakfast from a street vendor versus a restaurant
a hotel room for a single night
a ticket to see a movie

Any other recent purchases of mundane items?
I am curious.  Thanks.
