Cheated in the name of visa

Post new topic

suppot.mohd5

hi all,

I recently had a very unfortunate incident happening. As I was looking for some job for my brother here in Jeddah, happened to meet a Pakistani Agent who was able to convince me that he has some free work visa's available & sell me the visa for some money.

I unfortunately walked into his trap & now that i realized its a trap, what could be a way out & to get my money back?

Kindly suggest as I am unable to overcome this stupidity if mine.. Does reaching out cops here in jeddah cud be of any help? Any references please...

Hello,

Unfortunate of you to be cheated of your hard earned money.

How much money have you paid?

Is this man still in Saudi Arabia?

You need to go to police with an Arabic speaking friend, a call from police to this man will solve your problem, please remember this will be an unofficial solution since if this matter goes to Saudi court, paying money and receiving money for visa are both illegal and court will dismiss your complaint.

So you got caught up in an illegal immigration scheme and think the police will help recover your money?  Sounds quite unlikely in my opinion.  You might just want to walk away and consider it a painful lesson learned.

Can't agree more.

What you have done is something illegal - buying a visa , irrespective of the fact that the person who issued the visa and sold the visa (also illegal) cheated you. If you go to the police they will put you inside first for engaging in illegal activities.

Guyz thanks for your suggestions!!!.

However, its not all about money.  As I did fell prey for him, I at least wanted to stop him from doing dis to others.  So I have been looking for some suggestions who could guide me in this..

:) As long as there is demand, supply will continue no matter what.

Lets focus on the fact that this guy has accepted some money from you. Did you transferred money on his bank account? Forget about your money if you paid him cash.

You still did not tell us how much money you paid to that guy? No records, no receipt even police, your common friends cannot help you. This is entirely your mistake and you should be held responsible for this. How can you pay to strangers without any guarantor?

Stay cool dude! He has learnt his lesson already. Now, let him go.

The thread is a good lesson for anyone intending to break the law, trying to get people into a country illegally, but no one is likely to listen.
The OP's previous threads make it clear he knew he was committing an illegal act, so little sympathy is due.

There is no hope of this agent and his like stopping because there's always one more fish trying to get around the law.

@suppot.mohd5 did your money returned back? Have you raised a complaint to police? What happened finally
