Seems like a return of the black plague.
Some people never got ill and others , well you know the story.
Yes, I was wondering if I should go to the UK - my Dad doesn't use Skype. I've got a changeable ticket. I could just get a refund and cancel my appointments and reschedule for say, April.  My dentist called without prompting and said everything was cancelled until May.Â
As a collector of dystopian movies and shows, I'm reminded of the British 1970s shows Survivors and the remake of 2008.  The 1970s version is well worth a look if you can find it.  There's also the video game The Last of Us being made into a TV show by HBO.
The 1975 Survivors premise is interesting:
"It concerns the plight of a group of people who have survived an apocalyptic plague pandemic, which was accidentally released by a Chinese scientist and quickly spread across the world via air travel. Referred to as "The Death", the plague kills approximately 4,999 out of every 5,000 human beings on the planet within a matter of weeks of being released."
Rather a coincidence!
In some ways I was kind of hoping for a TV style zombie apocalypse but the reality is quite different.
Predicitive programing on the masses through films and tv.
That has been going on for many decades.
I read that the US has banned flights from Europe for the next 30 days.
Dang, I know they didn't want me back but this is extreme!
I'm sure my prepper relations are all over themselves right now.
My bro last year told me he filed for bankruptcy Very weird as I know he and his wife both make over $100,000 a year each and he doesn't buy stuff or go anywhere.
He told me it was all invested in ammo! God how crazy!
We are screwed here in Europe if that is what's needed in the future, how far does a BB gun shoot?
Time to buy a bow and some arrows?
I am afraid people are going to loose it before they even need to round any of us up.
Maybe someone can help your father set up skype?
Let's see how far this thing goes. No dentist, no dancing, no bar hopping, they are going to kill us with bordem!

I think it's all OTT.  The chances of being really ill if you are in generally good health is very low. I am not happy to hear the Italians are closing shops but at least supermarkets and pharmacies are going to be working. The UK is pushing the virus peak further down the road. That's the plan from them anyway.
BTW, I looked up the legal position in the USA re: national health emergencies and the applicable law is called EMTALA. So the Feds should pay up but it's currently unfunded - maybe that moron DT will push to fund it and stop building big beautiful walls.  Maybe he'll backpedal on the ACA demise. Perhaps Bernie and Biden will get a boost too.  Apparently DT reversed immediately on stopping trade with Europe as well.  I am wondering how DT can spin this as being the fault of immigrants or the Democrats and if people can continue to be so dumb. And here too, how is OV going to spin it to fit his election agenda too.
My Dad is incapable of using even a mobile phone.  Skype is available but no chance of getting him near it.
Too bad about skype, at least he has access to a phone I hope.
I'm sure he understands that taking care of his grandchildren and DIL are important too.
I read that the HU gov, is not closing schools because ,"Children do not get the virus" or words to that effect.
Now I know it is a bio-weapon if they can say that, Targeting certain people perhaps from their 23 and Me DNA tests?
Perhaps they can pin point who got a polio shot back in 1962 and only take out those people? Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts and minds of men, only the Shadow knows...

Which is easily proven as false. But Donald is not interested in facts, only in finding a Twitter enemy he can post about. And a Virus is not subscribed to Twitter, so he has to go back to old windmills to fling his lance against.... As Donald would say.... Sad.

Seems an odd target to stick the boot in on the EU. Most of them are his NATO allies. And why exclude the UK and Ireland? It's a major hub for many airlines so perhaps that was the reason. That and golf courses.  As the Teflon Don knows full well, it's an old tactic find an enemy to blame but he's hurting many US airlines and businesses - they carry millions of paying passengers across the Pond.  EU seems to be under siege on all sides. UK may have dodged a bullet. Â
There's a report the 2nd Amendment Trump MAGA supporters are blaming the media.  Kinda strange since Donny Boy relies on his Twitter media account to get his message out. Donny looked almost drugged when he was reading from the teleprompter when announcing the ban. He even said the virus was fake news previously.Â
BTW, you never know, the virus might have Twitter. There was aStar Trek TNG episode where a virus was actually a node in a distributed intelligence.  Once comms had been established, they referred to humans as "Ugly giant bags of mostly water!". I know how they feel when thinking of Donny. I think the virus might be displaying more intelligence in not stating its case on Twitter.
I am not sure but I saw on U tube that the US has sent 30,000 troops to the EU as of yesterday and they didn't have any masks in their packs.
I wonder what is really going on?
It's all going to be OK though.
I just hope spring arrives late this year cause it isn't going to be a ton of fun to be indoors when it is beautiful outside.
My husband has no issues with it, he is loving being a couch potato now that he has a good excuse for it.
We do have many indoor projects to do, maybe we will finally get around to doing some of them.
Have to look on the bright side.

30K troops to the EU? WTF?  That's got to be totally fake news. The EU doesn't need 30K troops here from the USA unless it was for an exercise.  I hardly think that'd be going on right now. If anything, they'd be going back the other way what with the reduction/withdrawal of US forces from the world stage.  Anyway, masks aren't going to anything if you don't have the virus. Washing your hands is more likely to be effective.
One of the Fluffyettes said a bunch of military helicopters were flying over the school and it was thought they were going to Greece to assist at the Turkish border.
If only I could be a couch potato. Too many things to do. I am 99% certain I will cancel my trip to avoid infecting my Dad. Mrs Fluffy said some airlines at BUD could be in trouble - Wizzair notably.Â
Mrs Fluffy was at the pharmacy and says it was very busy.  We were at Auchan and the local govenrment yesterday and it wasn't that busy but looked like business as usual.  We need some electrical supplies but we're going to get them delivered because none of us can be bothered going into town to collect them. Not a coronavirus decision.
From the UK, they are just letting it slowly infect the entire population until it burns itself out or the vaccine comes online. Wonder if this is what DT is doing as well? Just taking the losses on the chin.
You hopefully can visit your father in a couple of weeks.
Better then feeling horrible if for some reason he got ill, the guilt would be too much.
I am now glad out son didn't come visit us in Dec. because I think the "bug" was already in China and his plane was to land there as a stop-over.
Funny how a problem can turn into a blessing with time.
I know it sounded odd , 30,000 troops but who knows what is going on behind the curtain.
I mentioned to my hubby that he should start sorting out his clothing for the next season instead of playing on his computer.
Think he may of put his earphones on to not hear me..
All good, going to bake a pie and open up some wine.

Nah, 30K troops from the USA, no way.  What would they be coming for? No requirement for them to be here. The US is taking everyone back from Afghanistan. They might increase in Syria but not in those numbers. Could be a rotation. Â
We're all sensible people. We should not get suckered by the fake news. There's so much around at the moment.  The journalists have to confirm their sources but anyone these days can publish rubbish.
I remember during the big tsunami, I was in Albania and the locals were showing me a video of the water flooding in and a strange object shimmering flying about, seemingly tracking the water pouring in, i.e. alien craft causing the disaster  They were watching at such low resolution, the object shape was not obvious. I look up a higher resolution video and it was immediately plain it was a helicopter. The shimmering was caused by low resolution of the rotors. D'oh.
Mrs Fluffy told me just now that if they close the schools, the govt won't pay the teachers during the closure.  I assume if politicians get quarantined, they'll continue to be paid.
I cancelled my trip to the UK. I shunted it to mid-April.  I had a flexible ticket so it didn't cost me anything. It won't be me that infects old people with the dreaded lurgy.
What kind of pie?  Hope it's apple (nice with raisins). Mrs Fluffy is thinking of doing some porkolt when she gets back from school.  Looks like rain.

So called (anti) social media has been long ago hijacked, corrupted, and weaponized. Mostly with the support of same media, as it brought in more revenue to their business.... (always follow the money).
Even over half a century ago, this was easy to see how this can happen, how it did happen, and how it has been exaggerated by (anti) social media. People are people. They do not change much over time.
For example, from the April 1951 issue of Galaxy Magazine, a story called... "The Marching Morons":
"That depends. I sold ten thousand acres of Siberian tundra--through
a dummy firm, of course--after the partition of Russia. The buyers
thought they were getting improved building lots on the outskirts of
Kiev. I'd say that was a lot tougher than this job."
"How so?" asked the hawk-faced man.
"Those were normal, suspicious customers and these are morons, born
suckers. You just figure out a con they'll fall for; they won't know
enough to do any smart checking."
Question is... do you want to be a suspicious (and then a personally responsible) consumer? Or a... well... check the title of the story.....

In short about the same as the COVID-19 issues. As in what is up with closing schools? Children to date, from every resource I can find, are the least infected group..... Government at (non) work again?

The Spam seems to come in phases. I had a pile of them maybe a month or two ago and then it's all tailed off.  Not complaining of course. GOod riddance.
Borders closed today and the airport is now closing according to gossip. I tried to look at it and it's unreachable in English. The App on Android works but the news items are from 2018 including, strangely an announcement that direct flights to Shanghai and the USA are being introduced. Those were the days.
The whole thing might be an alien plot or maybe Soros - elect fascist idiots, introduce virus, declare martial law, subjugate the population for evil purposes whatever they may be.  Not sure what the punch line is.
No idea what is going on really but better be safe then sorry I suppose.
I feel like they are picking on old people... if they were that worried about them then where are the volunteer corps.. coming to check on them and bring them food?
I personally wouldn't trust eating any gov. food...The final straw that would be.
We are good although I may be running out of wine soon...Then the real meltdown will begin. Just kidding, it is time to boost your immune system not put strain on it.
SF is in lockdown now too, the whole world is shutting down , no clue why but there has to be something going on that we pee ons are not privy to knowing.
Let's hope their next trick is not shutting down the internet, could happen, why not?
Pulling all the stops it seems.
My friend in Hilo says there is no virus there yet but still people are hoarding supplies, I can sort of understand that as living on an Island could mean no ships coming in. Poi is horrible to eat and not everyone knows how to spear fish.
My friend has lupus and already has scaring on her lungs, her husband takes heart pills, her son is a doctor but that isn't going to help much.
A friend in Vegas is not longer allowed to visit her mother in the nursing home. Not cool.
Going to look into online shopping with Tesco . Why not, who wants to go out there with everyone running around with fear in their hearts.
I do hope whatever is going on ends soon but in the mean time, chin up and shoulder back, here we go.

I think I've almost had enough already of this thing and this is only the 2nd day.  Closing the airport down is pushing me over the edge.
One of the UK Fluffyettes was flying in here next week and has been cancelled.  I'm rebooked so far but I can go but probably not come back unless I take a HU Fluffyette with me (families with a HU member exempt).Â
I'm going to try and carry on as normally as I can. I'm in a vulnerable group. I'm nearly classed (probably) as an older person but we cannot live in fear of this thing. In the majority it's not so serious. I'll take the risk for myself. I can keep away from others. Â
In some ways, there's an upside, so long as I get paid still, I can get an awful lot of stuff done from gardening to clearing up all the junk here and my long standing car repairs.  We might go to Erd to collect some plants this afternoon and Balaton on Thursday to do some gardening.
I don't think it'll be so easy to get stuff delivered. All those people have to be hired as well. Note on the BBC said Amazon was hiring 100K extra staff worldwide and paying them more.
The French have really gone OTT - everyone has to stay inside or be fined EUR 135 or something. This is just nuts. They will need troops on the street.Â
I am beginning to think we're living in some kind of dystopian reality or a simulation as this is becoming really strange.
Your lucky you can still travel within Hungary without getting stopped and strip searched, that may happen later....
I know when they had the martial law in S. Ca. back in 1993 it was a lot going on.
My bro lived in Simi where the trials was being held.
It was never covered by the media but he said the entire freeway was at a stop on his way home from work in the valley.
They checked everyone's ID to make sure they lived in Simi, if not they had to turn around and get lost.
My husband is 72 but I am forcing him to drink all sorts of odd things, onion skin tea, fresh picked rose hip tea ect.
I am overall healthy but this virus is new and not sure if it could take anyone out, I heard a newborn baby was born testing positive.
My son is in dream land in Japan and not even concerned a tiny bit, guess that could be a good thing to be living in another world .He got a bit grumpy when we tried to tell him what to do if we should kick it, he will not even consider us not being around forever.
Right about now, I wish we had looked harder at vacation homes with a small yard, I really am not liking staying inside the flat but I keep busy and it will get better soon.
I do feel sorry for people who even though they have a resident permit to Hungary are being turned away at the airport. Many people are going to lose everything which is sad.

I hope if they do strip searches they use a lubricant and rubber gloves. Bend over and cough (but not too much).  I think I've watched too many prison dramas.
I suppose your son is living in a Japanese expat bubble. When I was in Asia a week or so ago, it was just normal activity. No-one was really bothering with Coronavirus. But that was an age ago in the new Coronavirus world. Â
We just came back from Erd and it's also business as usual although maybe a bit quieter than usual. Like a Sunday. Plenty of kids on bikes and dog walkers. No-one really worried or doing anything unusual. On the highway to Balaton, it looks like normal rush hour traffic.Â
I think if you have a residence permit you can come in to HU - wording I read said that it was OK for Hungarians and EEA nationals (UK citizens still included). Other info said those with residence permits were OK too. That would be a bit strange if they weren't included as well.
Onion skin tea sounds revolting. Quite like the rose hip though.

His brother Christopher Cuomo is a lawyer and also a political anchor on CNN* which Trump also despises.
*I don't like CNN International much either (due to rubbish programming, not the politics)
We got the flu a few years ago and I found this onion skin tea to make.
It really worked and actually if you drink it quickly and hot it isn't too bad. Good anti-virual.
Yes, we are the weirdo Hippies who handpick wild rose hips when we see a bush full of them. I often carry and extra bag with me just in case mother nature has some goodies for us.
I know you can buy rose hips buds at the health food stores but it's more fun to pick your own.
Our neighbor, just got in from Aldi, still have TP there but their shevles are getting empty and they were out of vinegar.
Next time we venture to a store I'll try to get some for her.
Yesterday I stuck half my body out of the window to get some sunshine, crazy but my husband is limiting our exposure outdoors, tells me if I go out I can't come back in. He is taking no chances on getting anything. I may wear some rubber toss away gloves next time we go shopping but the mask... No, not a good look and I don't think they work well besides you can't get enough oxygen wearing one of those, you will pass out if you have it on too long.
He is buying into this, all good it will pass plus I am fairly busy here with catching up on small jobs and working out at home, no excuse not to do the extra few reps of sit ups now.
My German friend in Vegas was expecting her elderly mom and brother to visit her but now they are in lockdown in Germany.
Public transport is reducing the routes by 10%, good way to have less workers but more of a chance to get ill if the transport is crowded.
We are using our car and not going public.
I heard there may be a new strain of this "flu" going around too, Hope that is not true.
I mentioned to my husband that are normal lifestyle isn't too much different then quaratine excpet for our daily walks.
Finished my morning/late morning exercise and checked my mail.
Not really good news, ALL Las Vegas casinos and restaurants are closing down for 30 days. This starts at midnight tonight.
Got a message from one of my old gyms in Vegas that they were closing but holding online classes.
That defo is going to kill many people, this is insane.
Kill if not by illness then by stress of not being able to pay their bills.
So many people in Vegas work in customer service.
Now I may worry for my friends there, my one friend does hair but is down to one or 2 days a week, she is leasing a house too all by herself.
My son perdicted something like this.
When we went last year to visit him I could hardly walk into the kitchen area because he had glass bottles full of filtered water everywhere.
He said it was going down soon, not a prepper either just watching the signs of the times.
I had to throw out all those glass bottles slowly into the weekly trash cans so the trash man wouldn't break his back , well OK they now use automatic trash collection trucks.
Seems they don't really need all of us at all.
I was in a great mood until I saw the news about Vegas.
I also read that only people with a perm resident card for Hungary are allowed to re enter if they leave the country. Those in the EU with a resident card are good but they did mention those who are not in the EU need to travel with a HU citizen family member to be allowed back into Hungary. Since the UK has left the EU I wouldn't take a chance of being lockout of Hungary right now. Things are still changing all the time here.

UK is still included because there's an interim agreement until 31 Dec 2020 to treat them the same as EU citizens.  After that, who knows! There's a news article saying Brexit negotiations would be delayed due to the virus hysteria. Â
I'm doing my work via Skype these days as I'm in a vulnerable group - I should be self-isolated for 12 weeks (WTF?!).  It's not that easy to do work online.  I'm told corporate insurances have been cancelled and everyone has to return to base. Even private travel insurance doesn't cover the virus specifically. Painful.  My colleague only just arrived in an African country and now cannot get out!
Trump just agreed with Justin to close the border with Canada. What it means really, no idea.

Because a permanent resident card makes one immune from a virus and not a carrier?Â
Stupid politics in action.... right there.Â
Stuck in Africa, well I heard to was really beautiful there.
My husband went there and said it felt like home in his soul, somethng very earthy about the country.
Perhaps the virus isn't as bad there?
i was wondering if so called 3rd world countries are in better shape with this thing or not. Then I heard that the military is out in Peru so guess not all of these far away places are doing as well as I thought.
We went to Tesco super early today, 6 am. My body is in shock for going out that early as I am a slow starter in the mornings most times.
Wasn't busy at all, only a handful of people. One young guy was wearing a mask and an older lady was doing all the lifiting to check out and all the packing, guess he is not in good shape.
We picked up a couple items for our neighbor since we have the car. She went to Aldi yesterday and they were out of many things she wanted.
Tesco at least in the early morning was totally out of dry goods like beans, brown rice, still had some B quality white rice left in bags but was getting low.
The meat was about to be restocked, it was too early for us to buy any meat as they open at 9 am.
They said on tv yesterday that prices wouldn't be going up, well since last Sat. many items did have a price hike, some as much as 100 forints each.
I hope this "pandemic' is over with soon cause I only stocked up on wine for 2 weeks, bought a bottle of bubbly to open when it has passed, I am sure it will pass and I can celebrate with the world! Then we should have a fireworks show and party in the streets.
In the mean time, it's going to be beans and rice for awhile,All that TP might come in handy after all.
Hate to be flip, this is serious but I refuse to live under stress and be unhappy until I have to experience those emotions.
I am more afraid of how the world is going to change after this then anything else.
My son in Japan lives in Fukuoka, his wife said the main station , the major hub of the city as slowed down and not many people are outside.
He has not prepped , he really thinks he can just run out back and go fishing and raid a rice field if he has to. Guess as long as the internet is up and running many people are ok with being in house arrest.
We are fine and need no help from anyone really but Orban did say something last week about people coming to check on older people, people from the gov. I don't need their care packages if that's their plan, my thoughts are more like they want to see if your still kicking or not then to help you out. Our neighbor told my husband yesterday when she was entering our building and carrying a ton of bags, she is 68 or so, that her next door neighbor actually slammed the front door in her face rather then keeping it open so she could get in. Wow, what an ass,,,This is going to be a time of people showing their true colors, showing their dark hearts etc. This is going to be OK, if not then we are all in for something new.
I am in contact with a American lady who is here in HU on a teaching job. She is far out in a village, I am a bit concerned for her as she is a bit like a babe in arms with the language and customs here. Her job has been closed for now so no idea how long she will be alright with her life. Her job covers her rent costs but with no work I wonder what they will do? Almost too late now for her to return to the US.
It is a shame that everyone i know is so scattered around, if they were closer we could do something positive.
I was thinking if things get really bad that in every house they should pull forces and check on each other etc. No, not after hearing about one neighbor slamming the door in the face of another.

Stupid politics in action.... right there.Â
It's a virus shield like garlic or crucifixes.
The virus will just wither and die when it sees the Hungarian crest and rubber stamps.
I heard a guy from Czech Republic on a phone in show and he said he's living in a post-apocalyptic movie. Yup, that about sums it up.Â
Barnier (EU chief negotiator) is now nCov19 positive. Brexit delays will come!

My husband went there and said it felt like home in his soul, somethng very earthy about the country.
Perhaps the virus isn't as bad there?

They said on tv yesterday that prices wouldn't be going up, well since last Sat. many items did have a price hike, some as much as 100 forints each.

We are fine and need no help from anyone really but Orban did say something last week about people coming to check on older people, people from the gov. I don't need their care packages if that's their plan, my thoughts are more like they want to see if your still kicking or not then to help you out. ....

The Forint has dropped considerably in value. Prices will rise because there are so many imports which have to be paid for in EUR/USD etc.  Might be an opportunity to invest in some solid shares for the long term. The price will be depressed for a while but should bounce back eventually.Â
At least the person out in the countryside should have access to free healthcare.  Be so screwed if they had to pay.  Stateside, still wondering what the Teflon Don will do about that - I think they are making it free as of the headlines this morning. He has the ability to requisition commercial resources due to the war footing he declared yesterday. Going to be interesting post-Corona on how healthcare will be reformed. Â
Friend of mine is on the way to SFO but thinks he'll arrive in the middle of a lockdown. How he'll get from the airport to his folks' place, no-one knows. Not sure how he'll get back to Europe - if ever.
The guys in Africa are not sure what to do or what will happen.  Presumably they will run out of money. I think it's not that there isn't Coronavirus but it's under-reported or undiagnosed.
We're off to Balaton but we're expecting to find ghost towns with tumbleweed blowing through. We're very late to get going down there.
Enjoy Balaton before the s*** hits the fan they may stop all traffic and force everyone inside.
Have a feeling that will be coming along soon enough.
We ran over to the ATm machine this morning, wouldn't of bothered but yesterday at Arena Plaza the ATM wasn't working and it sort of wanted to know what was up.
All good, must of been because we tried to use it at 6 am yesterday.
Well we pasted by Lidl on the way home and it didn't seem busy.
My husband stayed outside I ran in .
When I was looking around I saw so many people wearing masks but one dude was wearing it on his chin?!
My husband was pissed at me when I got out, he peeked through the shop window and noticed too many people standing near me at check out, Some old guy was right on top of me from behind... Hmm, I realize that sounds a bit rude...
People are out here and there but it is mostly a ghost town. I think a major lockdown is coming here soon.
This is making my mind wonder if this is the perfect storm, time to start the NWO, Perhaps all currency will crash and we all have to restart from zero.
That would kill many people who identify with money and what power they think they have because they have a bit more then the next smuck.
I think all those CEO's of major corp. who quit these last few weeks
have already bunkered down in the underground shelters.
Yes ,my mind goes to some dark places .
Saw many people who loved ones are trapped outside of Hungary and can't come home. Poor things, not going to be easy for them to face this BS in the next few weeks alone. We are lucky at least that this isn't really putting a major cramp in our lifestyles. If we get out of this alive, I am going camping right on the ground in the fresh open air and running barefoot in the grass as well.
My Vegas friend is a self employed hairdresser. Her shop has been closed for the next 30 days.
No income at all.
Maybe Trump will send everyone $1,000. but that's really nothing for 30 days in the US to live on.
This is going to change many people in ways we still do not know.

Actually, a bad idea.
The mayors here are even asking people from Budapest that have been told to not come to work to also not travel to the Balaton. Which makes sense. Extra movement can simply move the virus.
Do people listen?
Of course not.
I have even seen more German and Austrian license plates today in my village than I ever see this time of year. Great. They probably thought... well since I can not go to work maybe go to my house in Hungary.... Result: More potential importing of the virus. No wonder EU has now more confirmed cases than China.....Â
Seriously... Governments do not think. And people do not think. Sad.....Â

Gonna be interesting. Â
Most European countries have sick pay which is a fixed amount for a period of time. European governments are paying the salaries up to 80% or so of the employee workers stuck at home. They aren't going to be laid off. The maximum is around $2700-3000 a month. Plus they've stopped all evictions too because people cannot pay their rent plus deferred tax payments for a few months.
US is the next hot spot - following on from Italy etc.
Some US experts/commentators said that Trump won't get elected again based upon the current situation as his rhetoric is based upon an increasing stock market which is going south by the minute. Maybe he'll be out and someone else will be in charge. He cannot spin the virus in the face of the body bags piling up in CA or NYC.  I saw some drone footage of LA and there's no-one there! $1000 for a one-off payment is going to lead to civil unrest. Inadequate response.
Apparently OV wants to rule by decree now. Mrs Fluffy watched an interview today and he said Parliament cannot convene due to the risks. People might be now realising a) how serious it is; b) their civil rights are going to be infringed possibly forever; and c) being a tough right wing leader doesn't do anything to the non-Twittersphere virus; and d) it's not the fault of the migrants.   How'd that OV thing work for them Fidesz voters then?
One of the most irresponsible things I've seen on the news are the videos of students partying during Spring Break in Florida.  That's just nuts.
I still find this a bit weird. No-one in my wider circle seems to know anyone who actually died from coronavirus and that circle covers many countries. On the other hand, this video from Italy shows things are not going well - Sky News Report from Bergamo Hospital, Italy

When we were down there Thursday, yup, German cars and surprisingly busy.  Even the cafe and ice-cream shop was open and there were customers sitting outside at the tables. It was such a nice day. We were gardening in T-shirts and getting hot.  So you can see the logic - early days in Balaton and surely no-one will be there?  Wrong!
In other news, I ordered some electrical goods online - lights/led tubes etc - and they cannot deliver them. They say their supplier is unable to obtain supplies due to the lack of transport (presumably the drivers in self-isolation etc) and another supplier said 3 weeks (usually it would be 2 days).  This is going to be the new norm.

I agree with you. We stayed indoors for 5 or 6 days, then went to Tesco at a unheard of time of 5:55am They were just opening when we got parked. Only about 6 or so people shopping. Bad thing is their meat counter is not open till 9am...I know you don't eat meat though.
My husband is PISSED at me because yesterday about 9:30 we walked to the ATM machine at our bank, the one in the Arena Plaza wasn't working the day before and we wanted to check out if it was the machine or our card, All good, got so much in forints now which we really do not need to have.
Well, who knows what will happen with all world currency when this is over with, we could all start at zero. At least if we run out of TP we can use forints!
Oh ,my husband is upset because I told him I would go into Lidl really quickly to get some food items we couldn't pick up at Tesco. It wasn't busy but when I got in line to check out, everyone wanted to check out at once. All standing way to close for comfort My husband waited outside and was waving for me to get the F out of there ASAP but I thought he was just saying HI...
I'm a space case at times.
He said only Zombies are out now days, still people are walking their dogs and jogging outside.
I wonder what people are going to do about walking their city dogs if we all get locked down, they had better not let them use the common yard and not pick it up. Then again, it's sort of nice to know where
our next BBQ might have to come from, yuck. in the war the city had zero dogs and cats, we may actually go the way of China after all if this goes on too long.
Sorry for my sick rude humor, just a bit too much for everyone right now. One thing i know for sure, the world will never be the same again, let's pray it changes for the better but judging by what I see going on outside, think not. Either way, it was a good run and I am at peace with the world. Hmm, what am I going on about, they must be spraying us with happy chemtrails today.
If you are feeling stressed, I like watching a guy on U Tube who lives in Norway, very relaxing and informative.
It's called, Bjorn Andreas Bull-Hansen
At least he films outdoors and is a very chill personality. .
He mentioned that Norway is now in shut-down too.

I've been chillin' anyway but I get my kicks in a different way - I've just replaced the exhaust/muffler on my hobby car.  What a pain in ass but at least I did it.  Mrs Fluffy had to get some emergency supplies for the job this morning and it wasn't a problem. Both major car spares places were open until 13h.  I had to fix it before it rains.
Perfect for a rainy afternoon movie - Contagion.
I'm spending time in the garden, well yesterday we had 22°C today it dropped down to 6°C but p^ssed it down. Tomorrow and onwards just goes downhill 5°C / -4°C with snow forecast on Wednesday. They did say Tuesday but like the virus, everything changes...
6th day on Lockdown I've run out of jobs to do in the house as shops are closed so can't do pretty much anything else.
What it like with you guys and dols? Any news with official figures?

Nothing wrong with going outside, as long as "social distance" (i.e 2 meters) is maintained between other people.
Had to go shopping today (first time in 10 days ... actually normal for me any time of the year), and noticed the checkout people were wearing masks and rubber gloves. Which makes sense---- one can not stand 2 meters away when checking out.
