Not sure about bank interest but Treasury Bills probably give you the best interest rate

Hello,

I would like to invest in treasury bills in Ghana, obviously Barclays, however I am not too sure how it works. If i will invest lets say 36000 cedis (91days) what will be the profit? Have no idea how do the calculate it....

Regards,

Ela

It all depends on the rate on the day you buy them and at the moment that is less than 20%. On 36000 cedis the interest will be around 7000 cedis for the year so at the end of 90 days you should get about 1700 cedis. You will need to check the rate at the time of purchase to get an exact figure
