Opening a bank account

Hi guys! I'll move to Doha this coming October, and I'm just curious if it will be easy for me to open a bank account there? And if yes, what will be the documents that I need to present to the bank? Thanks!

Hi Alia,

Yes you can open bank account easily, all you need is a letter from your employer to open bank account. Kindly note that it is mandatory to have your account registered with your RP, but in case you are new and you do not have RP you can still open an account on your passport.
It is better to check with your employer that which bank he recommends as your salary may come to your bank account directly.
