Property prices in Taipei

Post new topic

Priscilla

Hello everyone,

Finding affordable housing in Taipei is number one priority for newcomers. Tell us more about the estate market in your district/city/region.

What are the most desired places to live? What are the most affordable ones? What is the average cost of a rented flat? And what is the average sale price for an appartment or a house? Could you tell us more about local real estate policies/procedures? What about property tax or residency tax in Taipei?

What about you? Where do you live now? Is it a place you would recommend?

Thank you in advance for your clarifications.

first of all I would not make this comment for free but your beauty,
secondly,   similarly like all other Asian cities you can make approach housing pricing as of their attraction rate, the most known basic is city center and how big the related city is,  for example Taipei City which is capital of Taiwan common price is 2 million US Dollar for one hundred square meter flat if you want to buy, without considering new or old. If go surrounded cities of Taipei which is 15 to 40 km distance to Taipei City center, than price goes 700 thousand US dollar around for same size. Can consider the same for renting while Taipei City is around US dollar 10 for renting, surrounding cities are around 3~4 US dollar for one square meter, again not based on new or old,  people here have more relation to how things get attracted than other known values, this is my idea,  - for example you can find flat close to mountain silent and more clean rainy weather  very cheap,  more rain mountain side disturbing something for locals...    hope I made one thing clear about Taipei housing, if have grammar errors you are please authorized to revise..  have a nice day
