The holiday season in Romania

Priscilla

Hello everyone,

Are you about to celebrate the holiday season in Romania? In many countries and cultures, the festive season is the time for happiness and reunions/gatherings. Is it so in Romania? How do Romanians celebrate this very special time of the year?

What about you? Will you spend the holiday season in your host country or in your home country? Will there be expat reunions/celebrations/parties in your region/town/area?

Thank you in advance for sharing!

Well first i must say Romania is my home now i truly love it here and many of my friends and family here already consider me Romanian as they say. The joke is...Sam you for sure were Romanian in previous life.  But I spend my Mos Craciun holiday in countryside...we sacrafice porca...spend time with family and friends.....in all my years of living and working my holidays here are the best and fill ALL that was missing.....Romania is my life!!!  My advice to those who are visiting or are here for a short time ...honestly....shed the western shield immerse yourself in the wonder peace and kindness that waits you here!...  ROMANIA CRACIUN FERICIT!!!! OK so my Romanian needs some work lol ....Pace pentru tot
