Police took our car license plate

You can drive in Puerto Rico with a state drivers license. I would go to the office and take the ticket with you and if you get stopped just say you are on your way. I got stopped with an expired Marbete and I just told them I didn't know and they gave me a warning. Being with a us drivers license I am surprised they were  so rigid.

I wish I got a warning my bf got the ticket and no warning. It was the first time he ever got a ticket for anything

@harrodsburger  I drove to an inspection place today with zero wait. My license was done in 1 day using license n co, took a week for it to arrive. highly recommend them, I believe I paid $150 and was able to get them to give me an appointment next day. The wait time when I went was about 30 days
