Hi all,
My name is Sufian, from Malaysia. I plan to move to Canada after i get married next year. I finished my study in Diploma Business Studies. and i would like to have a career in Canada. So, i hope all of you can help me and share a lot of opinion.
Rit09 and Sufianmalike, I wish you the best. The best way is to go to the government site (CIC, Citizenship Immigration Canada) and find the program that is the most suitable for you (skilled worker, provincial nominee et). The first step to immigration would require reading and analyzing tons of information on the web as every case is unique. Like comparing and matching your work experience, education, skills etc with the requirements on their site and calculating your points in each category. It takes a huge amount of perseverance, patience and of course time.
Hi all (I hope I’m doing this correctly ) I live in the USA and have been to Quebec several times (Montreal, QC, along the coast to Le Parc National de la Gaspésie). I’m planning to buy a small second residence (for now) as close to QC as possible, so I can have the occasional extended getaway. I can work wherever there is WiFi, so no need to seek employment. I’m in love with the natural beauty of Quebec and the vibe of QC, so we’ll see what happens. Glad to be here, look forward to exploring the site!

Hello everyone,... I guess that being part of expat.community even since a short time has brought me some luck..cause what I used to call a dream (living in canada) is about to become truth..the thing is that I met somebody here where I live, in my country "Algeria" and we're about to get married..and by some weird chance he already lives in Calgary and has a Canadian citizenship..so I'll be moving in with him in a couple months, just after our marriage..to live together in canada..I know it is not going to be easy to give up on Everything I've accomplished in here and start over up there..I don't even have a clue where to start from and what to do once I'll be there..I'll be so thankful if I can get some advices and informations to light me up the way, even just a little..
Best regards 🙂🙂
Hello Reegan
Yea, that's nice
nice...
its all dream here no actual migration.
Hello everyone.
I'm more of a dreamer who's been dreaming for a few years in changing country, starting my journey through Canada.
I have left aside these plans sometimes for several reasons, but this time I am determined to finally accomplish this dream from the second semester of the next year when I will have finished my studies at the university.
I am 33 years old and I live alone in my hometown in Brazil.
I like to make friendships and learn languages.... If you look like me feel free to send me private messages, suddenly we start a friendship online and see us next year in Canada. ;-)
Great week to all!

you should go to craigslist not here!
Thanks for the tip Amandahlaurifsen22
I didn't know the Craigslist site, but here in the Expat.com I am more to get information about the countries I intend to live in. My biggest intention is not just to make friends, but if I end up doing it, I don't see any problems either. :-)
Best regards
Cleberson
