Use the PICTURES section is one option.
Unfortunately Expat.com does not have photo upload/hosting for the forums. Photos must be on an external photo host (e.g Flickr) and linked to, which isn't very convenient at all.

Which kind of picture would you like to upload ? A profile picture, a general picture in the shared picture album, or just a picture on the forum ?

Hi Gena,
Click on the blank avatar on the top right corner of your screen.
Click Edit.
Click on the blank avatar that now shows on the left hand side and then upload picture from your computer.
You can do the same by clicking on the background.
