CETA trade agreement with Canada

Robin & Sue

Hi
I've tried e.mailing Posta Romana but as expected received no reply. Does anyone know, now that the EU have the CETA free trade agreement with Canada, will parcels come to the house or do I still have to make the 100km round trip to the Customs Office? My daughter lives in Canada & the present Customs system is a joke!

I've never seen or heard of Posta Romana delivering parcels to anyone, regardless of origin.  I live in a large city (Iasi) and have to pick up anything larger than a A4 envelope.  In any case, the free trade agreement you refer to would have no bearing on it whatsoever anyway.

All of our parcels sent from within the EU (mostly the UK) get delivered to our door by our cheery postman since Romania became a full EU member. Before that we had to collect them from the Customs Office, which was not far away when we lived in Sibiu. Most of my parcels are from Amazon Uk & keep us supplied with all the stuff we can't get here. Sue
