Nice budget hotels in Tripoli

Post new topic

Can anyone recommend some nice budget hotels in Tripoli, around 80-100 dinars. I am trying to find a place for my friend to stay for a couple of days. He's coming with his girlfriend (not married) so it would be nice if it's also a place where they don't bother asking for marriage certificate.

I've heard some places actually don't allow unmarried couples to stay together in the same room, but I'm not sure whether this is true or not. If anyone could confirm I'd be grateful.

Hi V,

I stayed at the Marhaba in Dahara ($50 US) but as I was alone, I couldn't tell you about the chance of them giving your friends a hard time about staying in the same room.  This is actually a really good thing to know - how do unmarried couples manage to stay together???  (Not that I'm in the 'unmarried couples' group, mind you!)

Morning,
No, they don't ask for marriage cert's. The 4 seasons (and 4 seasons 2) off Omar Mukhtar street are reasonable prices, good rooms and very central.
