Resignation under probationary period..

Post new topic

DK Lem

Hello ...i have something to clarify on my problem with my employer.... first i am under provisionary for almost 3 months..now i already submit a resignation letter to my employer for some reasons; first, they ask my passport in exchange for iqama.. then i regused for giving it to them... so until now they hold my iqama...second,he does not follow the contract which my salary is deducted and giving me 2 day off only the whole month...and it seems the relationship we had the emloyer is getting intense... that is why lately i decided to resign... i mean do i have athe right to terminate the contract with my reasons? Do i have the right to demand repatriation? My very problem is that , i don't have any assurance that the labor here in province will side on me because my employer has a connection with the labor

As per law , if you are still under the probation period you can end the contract and demand repatriation wherein you will have to pay all expenses incurred by your employer in bringing you.  If you can prove there was breach of contract and there was no pay given for the period worked then you may be able to leave without paying anything. You can contact your embassy first if you feel you wont get any favorable response from labor office in your region.
