Is this an all year round activity in Malta?  Does anyone have some information regarding this?

What do instructors get paid to do this sort of thing?

Thank you for all information received.

Hi,

Diving tends to me seasonal here, from Feb/March to November. You'll be lucky to find somewhere that's all year round because, if they are, they tend to hire locals to cover the winter season or will already have full teams for this year.

Money wise...not good. You can either be employed or self employed depending on the company. Self employed tends to be 1000 euros a month, maybe a bit of commission for up selling courses etc. If you're employed it's around 700 euros a month for 5 days a week. The 6th day for 50 euros and each course you teach is around 4 euros. If you do three dives a day it's 14 euros extra. All in all the money is not great but... hope this helps.

If you're in Malta or want more specific info just let me know.

Thanks,

Holly
