How to find a job in Germany

SaraVFS

Hi!

I am currently living in London but I'm planning to move to another country. I'd like to move to Norway, but first I'd like to improve my German living and working in Germany before that. Can someone tell me if it is easy to find a job - especially at an airport (I have experience working in customer service in airports)? I am fluent in English and I speak German at a basic level.

Thank you!

Customer service at an airport (or elsewhere) is not possible without good German language skills. After all, you need to understand the customers (and most of them will be German)!

Thanks beppi.

Working at an airport would be the best, but here in London I'm working in a shop and I worked at a restaurant before. So what I mean is getting a job, even in a shop.

Then I rephrase my reply:
Customer facing jobs are not possible without good German language skills. After all, you need to understand the customers (and most of them will be German)!
Stocking supermarket shelves is possible, but so badly paid that only foreigners from poorer countries (e.g. Eastern Europe) do it.

Thank you once again beppi.

I need to improve my German at the same time I'm learning Norwegian then, 'cause here in the UK things are getting worse and it's impossible to have a better job.
