Looking for income from investment in Mauritius

I am afraid  :)  that this does not exactly fit the Banks and finance category, but I think its the closest relevant one!

I am looking into investing with a view to providing income when moving to Mauritius and I have come across 'Invest Hotel Scheme' on the http://www.investmauritius.com/, the Board of Investment Mauritius website.

I have tried  :/  to find details of developers/companies offering these investments on the internet but so far I have not been successful so I would be grateful  :top:  if anyone knows more on this or can guide me on how to get these contact details?

Depending on the scale of your hotel project, you will need to find a property for lease or purchase, beach front land is difficult to find. Then apply for permits and loans. Mauritian banks will request for guarantee. I advise you to gore for a smaller scale at a first instance such as a tourist residence / accomodation project. Its much less complicated and requires far less investment, limited risks and quicker in terms of permit processing and implementation.

Thank you Venis; I had a look at it and it does not appear provide details of any developers/companies advertising the selling of these types of investments.

Many Thanks again.

Thank you for your advice which is valued. I am looking for IHS government accredited companies. IHS is meant to offer investments into something similar to what you describe and these investments are suppose to have limited risks as per the governments IHS criteria, hence my interest in them to get investment income.

Hi Raj,

Indeed, the reason why I sent you the link is to demonstrate that while it mentions IHS as investment scheme for foreigners the only offers available are RES, IRS or PDS related which leaves the impression that there are currently no ongoing  IHS projects.

Hi Venis

Thank you. You most probably are right about there being no current IHS projects! Shame as IHS looks like quite a secure type of investment and also one that's aimed at any entity or anyone including Mauritians.

Best Wishes

or/and
http://www.mauritiuspropertymatrix.com/ … tel-scheme
Do you want to be a unit holder or holder of many units as investment ?
or do you want to partner with the developers of such schemes ?

There are a couple  of them :

http://ihs.longbeachmauritius.com/LongB … ummary.pdf
http://www.luxresorts.com/media/196802/ … ry_ENG.pdf
http://www.kokibay.com
http://www.luxuryrealestate.com/residen … -mauritius
I don't know how good and reliable this list is:
http://www.investmauritius.com/media/23 … v-2014.pdf

proceed with caution and due diligence since when money is involved , the sharks are ready to take a bite or just to make a sale w/o certainty that you will get your 4%  :o

Hi.

I hope you are well!

I am South African and really want to move to Mauritius, but I need a job first. Is there any chance that you have any contacts or connections to arrange a job for me?

I am well experienced in Project Management, Construction, Sales Manager, Software Sales, Liquor Sales, Kitchen Sales, Car Sales, Construction Site Manager, Development Planner and Manager, or ANY type of sales, very fast learner and very dynamic. I have been a CEO and GM of a company and a chairman of a board of directors.

Any help would be much appreciated!!!

Regards,

George

Hi George

Best to put your request under a seperate posting so that there is more chance of it being responded to.  :)

Hi Raj,

I'm new to the site. Where would be better to post this info? Please assist?   :)

I suppose that would be where it says - ''JOBS'' above - ''Create your CV ''?

georgedeysel

Well, thank you bingo . . . . Already did that and looked for additional ways to promote, hence why I posted it here and was then told to post it somewhere else, so enquired if there were even more places I could venture to get more visibility :)
