Hello everyone,

I am from Nepal and currently in Dubai but planning on coming to Macau and work there in hospitality sector. Any ideas what should I do to find a job and also would also appreciate the ideas of renting and everything as it will be my first time in Macau. Steps of ideas would be highly appreciated.

Hoping for your positive ideas friends.

Thank you

Thaitao

Welcome soon in Macau!

1. For work, casinos are recruiting again, and have launched recruitment campaign, You can check on line for the Sands and Galaxy casinos. Jobs are in the Hotel and F&B areas mainly. You can also check on the HelloJobs website. But please understand, it's difficult to help you, if you don't describe more what you are looking for.
2. For rent, all depends what you are looking for. Average price in Taipa for a decent 2 bedroom is HKD12-15k, for a 1 bedroom HKD9-12k , very few studio available in Taipa.  On the other side of Cotai, in One Oasis (the still new complex), you can still find 1 bedroom apartment for HKD9k, 2 bedroom for HKD12k, studio for HKD8k. For bigger flats, 3 bedroom HKD15-25k, 4 Bedroom HKD25-30k. You can search on malimalihome website even if the ads are either obsolete or just there to beit clients. For one room in share flat, you can find HKD5k or less, searching on FB, often direct relationship with owners, so no agent commission.
Hope this helps

Hello Christian,

Thank you for your reply and can I know how much salary do they offer? And what would be the best, coming there and look for the job or start searching when I am here in Dubai. and, would there be bed space available, are there any websites where I can look for the rent and all.

Regards
Tenzing

Hello Tenzing,
Great adventurer!
1. Looking for a job can start online. Coming here is always good but a bet. If you come here the lengh of your stay depends on your visa.
2. Salary; depends on the job of course. And I still have no clue of what you are looking for, but basic salary may start at around MOP15,000.
3. Bed space, I know some people look on Facebook; ByeByeZaiaRealEstate site.
Godd luck!
Christian
