looking for an accomodation

hi everyone.
we are an italian couple,aged 26, we've just arrived in Nairobi and we are looking for accomodation in westlands or nearby.
we are interested in a room in a shared apartment, villa or townhouse, otherwise a reasonably priced flat.
in case of any other suggestions, kindly let us know as we are very new here and need advice.

Hello Emily and Luca,

Come stai, i live on State House Avenue which is walking distance to town and usually let out furnished rooms to interns. The room that will soon be available has been let by two interns from the Italian Embassy and who still walk to the International Life House the Embassy building in town. Since they are two girls who didnt know each other but were forced to share till they got separate rooms in our compound from other people that let out their rooms. The room has two separate beds a double and a single bed, it shares one bathroom with another roomer who works at Airtel. The house is quite spacious and laid out on three floors.

The price includes power and use of the kitchen facilities, swimmingpool and use of the sittingroom and diningroom as you wish. You arrange for your own laundry, room cleaning and dishes etc. If you want to be helped with any of the extra services by the house help an extra fee of 2000kshs per month applies.
