Hello Jean- Baptiste
Anissa

Hi Julien, new here and do not really understand how after a few hours checking on "expat.com", I felt here in english suddenly ! Anyway, I'm looking forward creating a new life in Thailand, after 15 years in French Polynesia...My main work axe is "International Sales & marketing manager (senior ! at 55 years old!) and....looking for a job ! Best. Henri
Sabai Dee?
I'm new here, but already a long time in LOS. Thank you.
Hello Jean-Baptiste
I hope you're fine, I'm in Bangkok for work for two months, if you really want to work here and have your little train train .. hang on, because life is by far to be the same as in Australia .. my arrival was quite difficult to live for me .. to confess I have tjrs as much trouble to me in Bangkok. (after each depends on each)
As for the job here, you have to know that very few Thai speak English .. so if you really want to find a job as a man to do everything 'I advise you to target the big boxes .. Regarding posts to fill .. you have many pages of expat fb that can come to your aid but the best is to come see on the spot.
To be honest I think you're more likely to want to wander to the left rather than work here .. especially that Bangkok is far from representative of Thailand, but hey, that's my opinion
Do you already have an expected arrival date?
Where are you in Australia?
see you soon maybe
ps; dsl for faults .... Thai keyboard.

Hi Chris,
It was a private message in French. Maybe you should have Admin remove it.

Hi,
My husband and I are planning on moving to Thailand for a couple of years in 2018. Initially we were planning on commencing our stay in Chiang Mai, now we are thinking of Who Samui. We have stayed in Kho Samui previously in the big hotels. Now we would like to rent a 2-3 bedroom house close to the beach. Any suggestions as my current research shows that the housing is quite different than what I have been looking at in Chiang Mai. Can anyone suggest areas as well? many thanks.
Hi,
I am about to retire and l would like to make a fresh start and get away from the materialistic life style and chill out and then do something meaningfull rather than the corporate existence thus far in my life.
I have been to Thailand a number of times and up to Chaing Mai and Chaing Rai a couple of times and see myself there long term.
However I have an 11 year old mini schnauzer dog who is my best friend and I would not leave him behind. I have spoken to jet pets and the travel is no problem, and I know that the local street dogs can be mean, but i have seen local people in Chaing Mai walking small dogs and even a cat on the street.
Has anyone any experience in taking their dog to Chaing Mai or Chaing Rai.
Any thoughts?

Welcome James, and all the others!
The first thing you need to do (if you haven't already) is learn about Thailand's restrictions on what kind of work a foreigner is allowed to do in Thailand.
Hi all,
I’m Nicky - planning on moving to Thailand next year and bring my dogs with me. Does anyone have experience with pets in Bangkok? Are there good vets, places to take dogs , groomers other pet services ect? This is something that worries me the most . Would appreciate any guidance or advise on this topic!
pet friendly accomodation will obviously be my top riority when looking for a place .. luckily I will move first and my pets about a month later so have time to set up ect.
Look forward to chatting. Thanks

Very few forum members, if any, will be able to help you find a job. My best advice to you would be to check the JOBS tab at the top of this page and try to google for jobs in Thailand, but don't expect any forum members to help find you a job. Good luck...
Kindly, Zeus
