I agree, his post is confusing. As a side note, I’m a licensed therapist with training in couples counseling.

Some local church pastors will do counseling for free. I know the Vietnamese pastor (Mr. Lap) at New Life Fellowship does, and he's bilingual. You can contact them on their Facebook page. That's a good option for foreigners who have access to a local English speaking church. I previously got some informal counselling from pastors here in the city, and it was quite helpful.

Also, Pastor Lap should know some professional counselors, I met one or two, attends NLF, so if you want an expert you could pay for her services. Another I met at Master's Cup, I'm pretty sure the owners at that English cafe know of some and could refer you to one of them. Just ask in their speaking room.

Relationship counseling is only as good as the level of honesty of the participators, same goes for pre marital counseling, most of this can be achieved by the couple. Their honesty won’t increase just because of a third party. https://youtu.be/vqprkBLIxi4  I’ve been watching this and they give some sound advice. The latest one is about expectations of both, relationships are a huge investment of ourselves, if your inclined to be selfish, don’t Enter into one
