Hi Everyone,

Can someone help me how can I search train schedules from Bucurest to Constanta? Are there trains leaving from OTP Airport straight to Contanta or I need to go to Gare du Nord and then get the train?

Which is the best way train or bus for this trip?

Thank's in advance!!

Hi Levi,

There are no trains at the airport. There is some kind of train service but it stops quite a way from the airport so you have to get a bus there to get the train to Gara de Nord. Alternatively, there's an express bus that goes to GDN or you can take a cab (probably about 30 lei).

If you follow this link you can check out the train times:

Choose 'bucuresti nord' for the departure station and 'constanta' for the arrival. Last train seems to be at 23.30, with a 20-minute transfer at Buzau.

The distance is a little over 250Km, no point for a night train from Bucharest.

For times and prices go here

I'd probably go for the bus if I had to, there are direct buses from the airport to Constanta, taking 3.5 hours and cost is around 70 RON.

Here you may check schedules : Autogari.ro
