Hi all
Im trawling round the internet regarding business visas for vietnam finding contradicting information.
I am from the UK and my girlfriends from the US.
We are going to saigon in a month to live and work for at least 6 months.
We do not have jobs lined up as we plan to sort that when we're there.
Can i simply apply for a business visa through a site like the one below and go through customs without police check, previous employer, health check etc?

Ive been through customs twice on tourist visa and its a painful experience i dont want any complications.

Cheers!

It's easy to apply for 6 month business visa or 1 year business visa. You could also use airport fast track service (usd 15/person) to help you go through immigration faster and easier.

Need some advice please, preferably not off Jimmy if the above is anything to go by.

My current business visa runs out on the 3rd of December, but I am not due to leave Vietnam until the 16th. So what is the best thing to do about that? I get back into Vietnam on the 31st of December. That's number one on the agenda.

Point two:

Which site is the best site and most reliable to get the business visa off? My company do it through a law firm but the price in comparison to what I've seen online is ridiculous.

If anyone can answer these two points, be eternally grateful. Thanks.

First:
You can extend your B-visa. It's not too complicated. Your company is supposed to do that for you.

Second:
I assume, on your return to VN, you'll continue to work for your current company.
In that case, please make sure your company allows you to use their ''letter of invitation/extension'' by an unknown third party to process/extend your B-visa.
Many companies don't like to outsource their HR processes to unknown parties.

You can talk to them directly and see if they are willing to cooperate.
If they agree, you are free to choose your own agent.

Business visas are mostly multi-entry ones.
