Hi,

actually hearing it for the first time, EMS is mostly managed by an employer, so they should be knowing about it or else you need to call LMRA

Realize that it's an old thread but the question was never answered.  So to help people:

1) Await E_visa : Means that the visa approval is with immigration (Shows as Await GDNPR on LMRA website).  The message also appears after making payment and before visa is issued (Shows as AWAIT GDNPR on LMRA website)
2) IN/OUT: Pretty simple actually.  The EMS system is a live system which can show whether an employee is IN or OUT of Bahrain.  If you board a flight out of Bahrain or go via causeway, the moment you clear Bahrain immigration, the status changes from IN to OUT.  It's not just info - it is quite critical for visa applications as the moment you enter a passport number for applying, it shows whether the person is IN or OUT of the country; this has an impact on the application process i.e. the person being able to enter or leave on other visas
