VT-TUR: 90 day extension

Post new topic

Good afternoon,

I have a couple of questions for anyone who has gone through the process recently:

1.) I just got my VT-TUR visa according to the new laws. No one was helpful at the Ministry of exteriors. Do my days remaining on the T-3 expire?

2.) I have to go back to the states for business for 30 days. Do my days outside the country count as part of the extended 90 days?

Any help you can give is extremely appreciated.

Yes the days will count if it's similar to the old law in that it's only the T-3 that days don't count if you are abroad. It's also worth noting that the extension was only for 90 days. This should help other members who are confused about whether the extension is 90 or 180 days.
