Is there any State owned English Medium Schools in Portugal? Or any low cost International English Schools? Thanking you all.

@NaimBangla Did you ever find anything? i am also looking for English medium schools in Europe. International schools are too expensive  but it will take a while for my children to learn a new language enough to attend normal local schools.

This topic is a few years old...


There are no state schools with English as the base language. This is Portugal, right? Portuguese is spoken here. But there are reception programs in state schools for students with native languages from a wide variety of countries (see link below, post "Portuguese Education System for Foreign Students").  Teachers are used to dealing with these students who don't speak Portuguese. Most teachers speak English with these students, and help them as best they can in learning the subjects they are taught and in teaching them Portuguese as well.


So this isn't a problem, especially for children who learn quickly, not like their parents...
