Employment agencies or not?

I am looking for a job. I am married to a Czech and my visa is in process. I have all of that paperwork. I do not speak Czech, I am American.
My question: Is it better to use an agency or do the leg work myself? I am looking for a management position.

Hi Jennifer,

you could contact the recommended agencies listed in the Recruitment Agencies in Prague section of the business directory.

You could also drop your own "looking for" advert in the Jobs in Prague section of the website along with your cv.

Hi, I'd recommand you setting up your own profile on this site www.jobs.cz/en, you fill in all your skills, capabilites, experience and so on, publish your CV and employers will be able to contact you in case of interest. I'm not sure how well it works when you fill in information only in English, but it's certainy worth trying, It's all free.
