Place to stay in Nanyuki or Timau

Hi. I am looking for place to stay in Nanyuki or Timau for duration of one month. Does anybody know what kind of house/rent is available in those area (for 1 person and furnished). I am also looking for place where I can send my 18 month old to baby class/play class in the same area.

Have you been to Timau? - its quite remote and not many facilities there. Nanyuki would be better, as it is medium sized town with better facilities. I know of one or two good places to stay, but dont have information on rooms to rent, short term.

As far as childcare facilities are concerned, I really don't know. There may be something, as there is a sizeable expat community in the area.
