Establishing new business in Mauritius

Hi all,

I am an Ethiopian, currently lives in Australia.  I have a plan to relocate to Mauritius in a month. I want to come and apply an occupation permit as self employed visa. I want to open some small business there. I am qualified for it.

i am thinking to open bar and restsurant, sports bar , or nightclub business. What decides is my capital and which business is more profotable. Other Businesses will also be consideted.

My capital is US$ 40,000. Could you please advice me what and how i establish in this cspital?

Since you are" thinking to open bar and restsurant, sports bar , or nightclub business" you will have to hire "help" to run that business .
Thus you can't apply for a self-employed visa

Self employed according to Mauritius is a docter, dentist consultant, web designer so it would not be possible to go on self employed, trust me my husband is a carpenter and he wanted to make and sell furniture and we can't be on self employed, we have to do the investor permit with $50k and we have to manufactory.
