Hi,

In the next year or so I am looking to move to Kuala Lumpur for work. I am a Risk Manager in a Bank in London with 6 years experience out of university and would not be relocating with my current company - I have worked for world renowned financial institutions. I have a number of highly respected professional qualifications within my field (CFA, actuarial).

Please could someone give me advice around whether I could realistically expect to land a job in KL and how would be best to go about it? I understand I would need a prospective employer to sponsor a work permit - is this typically a big challenge.

Thanks for any advice anyone can provide!
