Depends on your qualifications and the sector in which you have experience. The main professions that hire foreigners are software engineers and qualified teachers

What is 10 lac in Malaysian Ringgit?  Anyone recruited needs to earn at least 25% more in Malaysia.. The COL here is quite high these days. Expatistan and Numbeo are good web resources to check.

Online job advertising is the main route to employment. Jobstreet is the main portal. Immigration only give a work permit if there is no Malaysian who can do the job (it's not like the middle east with vast amounts of foreign professionals).

Your university would have to be a recognised qualifications provider (https://app.mohe.gov.my/iktiraf/semakan.php?pg=2)

It really is a waste of time and money just travelling to Malaysia to look for work. In any event you would need to leave again as the processing of work permits has to take place while you are outside Malaysia.

Do preparation and apply online. The main portal is Jobstreet.

IT software engineers get offers before they arrive. You can check through this forum to witness that. There is a shortage of software engineers in Malaysia so foreigners mainly from India are hired.
