Hi,
Good morning,
I am a veterinary graduate from EU, Italy.
I know farming is very developed in the Netherland.
What are the post graduate job , training opportunities for EU graduates ?
Also stages in cheese factories.
Is there a job website about this ?
Is the DIPLOMA SUPPLEMENT approved in the Netherland?
Thanks .

Can you speak Dutch?

silvma

Hi!
No , I don't speak Dutch.
I studied English , German and Spanish for five years in High school.
But I didn't learn Dutch.
I think I could learn it , I attended a scientific/linguistic school.

Hi Silvma and welcome to the Forum.

As an EU citizen, you have the right to live and work anywhere in the EU.  At the top of the page is a link to our Handy Tools section which will give you access to our Expat Guides, which may contain information useful to you in planning your journey.

To answer your specific questions:

You can find post-graduate job, training opportunities by searching the internet; here's a link to one that I just found.

If you're looking for a job, then I would recommend you use the Internet to search for the placement agencies (uitzendbureau) that specialise in the key areas you're looking for.

The Diploma Supplement scheme can be advantageous, but prospective employers do not have to recognise it and some don't simply because it's an EU scheme and they prefer National schemes to an imposed one.  It can't hurt to put it on your CV.

As for speaking Dutch; it would be advantageous for you to be able to both speak and write the language of the country you are proposing to live and work in; certainly, all of the Dutch graduates you would be competing against professionally will be able to; also life around you is in Dutch, it would be useful to be able to read the train-timetable or the information the doctor gives you regarding the medication he just prescribed for you.

Once you've consulted the links and guides I've provided, if you have any further specific questions, please come back to us.

Hope this helps.
