Cheapest way to ship package to South Africa?

Hi,
I was supposed to start a job in Mauritius back in August but unfortunately things changed. I shipped about 20kgs of stuff to Mauritius which has only just arrived. Luckily, I have a friend traveling to Johannesburg in 2 weeks who can collect the package and bring it home to me in the states. So, my question for the forum is - whats the cheapest way I can get stuff shipped from Mauritius to South Africa? Or is anyone traveling to Johannesburg in the next week or so who could bring along another bag (paid for of course!). It's just books, statutes, and some clothes that I wrapped the statutes in, but I would really love to have it all back
