Animal Cafes

Post new topic

If anyone like myself, live in super small condos that don't allow pets :( I have a solution! Visited this cafe on my day of with my girlfriend and it was honestly so much fun and a great way to spend a day off! Can anyone recommend similar cafes or activities (not zoos because they are so depressing and not the greatest treatment of animals)?

hi TLF1234

I am a big cat fan. There is a cat cafe in Rachatewi. All you need to do is buy a drink and you can play with the cats there.

There used to be another in Silom, but it's gone now sadly :(

You can enjoy my cats.

there is a coffe shop where you can play with dogs in Ekkamai, place called Dog in Town.
They have instagram, can have a look in there first, but im sure you'll like it)

bkk tea blog

We drive by a local place called the Cat Cafe but I don't think I'm turning it up looking online.  I did find two others while looking for it though:

Spent a couple hours in a delightful place in CM near the university called:
Catmosphere Cat Café
http://www.catmospherecafe.com/chiangmai
They have about 20 adorable cats and the normal cafe stuff... there was a small fee I believe.

and another place (haven't been) called:
Cat Brothers Cafe

jadenfox

and not to be outdone... there is also a dog cafe in CM (not been)
Box Box Chiang Mai Dog Cafe
(1/2 block down from the Catmosphere)

and two Hedge Hog Cafe's...
Harinezumi Cafe, Chiang Mai (South-east of square)   and...
another (I can't find online) that (I think) was on Suthep Rd near Union Science.

(two hedge hog cafe's... ???  go figure

I have been to Caturday many times, it is close to Ratchathewi. It is really nice and cute, but not 100% a fan. Because of too many tourists, the cats don't really feel like playing anymore. So I love it there but it is also quite busy and many cats but also many visitors.

Then there is a husky cafe around Phrom Pong, I was about to go in, but my friend didn't want to spend 500bht on it. I heard it is supposed to be good, but entry fee is 500bht.

There is a cafe called 'Little Zoo' close to Siam. I really liked it as far as cuddling cute puppies goes. They have various animals like chihuahas, corgis, cats, a parrot, small foxes (they do not want to be touched!) and like some caged animals too. They do change up the animals that are outside to give them some breaks, but I feel like it could be better tho, since some animals don't have the best life there..e.g. gitter under their paws and such. But overall that is a small disclaimer. I still really loved it there and they seem to try their best.

This is just what we needed! Partner and I are dog and cat lovers! I agree, animal cafes are a more ideal option than some zoos. Couldn't stand the cruelty.

I know they have more than just cats. Is the entry fee worth it?
