How to get a proof of residence if i will stay in a hostel or hotel?

hello.

I'm Phol from Philippines, planning to get married with my Indian bf who is currently working in Dubai. 1 of the requirements in Special Marriage Act, is 1 of us should stay in Delhi for at least 30 days.

How can I get a proof of residence from local police station if I will stay in a hostel or hotel in Delhi?

Please I need any response.

I think hostels issue identity cards which are valid for 1 year. You can then take a letter from them that you have stayed there for more than a month. You may take photocopies of both to the local police station to get a letter issued from them. I don't think hotels would take that risk. Maybe you can just show the copy of the hotel bill to the concerned officer. They shall then approach the hotel and verify.
