Hey guys, i train mornings with a well-respected Ukrainian trainer but would be good to have someone else for sparring, pair work etc.
i have a deal with him where i get cheap lessons (6 Lev) if i teach him a bit of English, he usually only works with competitive athletes (which is defo not me lol) so this is quite a good arrangement. You actually get proper instruction.
I trained at another club here for a year and wasnt really impressed - just get plopped in a corner to flail away at the bag, no real corrections or even technique drills. Basically Jane Fonda kickboxing lol
Right now it's boxing and kickboxing, but will also be doing some sambo and submission too. the gym is part of the Boil club near Bila in Asporuxov.
