Hi all,
My husband and 2 kids  (ages 4 and 1) will be moving from Australia to Mont Kiara next month.  We are trying to find a good preschool for our 4 year old daughter. We are considering Trinity, Whitelodge and the GI preschool. Any recommendations on which one is better?

I will be a stay at home mum with my 2 girls so am very open to making new friends too :)

Thanks in advance!

The International School @ Parkcity Early Years Centre in Desa Parkcity.  Around 10-15 minute drive from Mont Kiara.

You can make a visit. I heard they gonna do an open day this coming 12 may 2018.

Hi,

There are number of smaller nurseries in Mont Kiara that are quite good except the ones in the international schools here which are quite pricy for a nursery. Depending in which part of MK you plan to live just check the nearby options, some condos even have a nursery inside the condo which is very convenient when you have small kids.

This is an established school in KL.

Trinity has been one of the award winning schools in town.

There are also lots of good preschools in Mont Kiara which have a very diverse student population (due to the expatriate community).

That would be The CHILDRENS HOUSE and TRINITY KIDS (in case the links above do not appear).

Hi,

I am mother of 2. Last year I sent my 4 years old daughter to Trinity kids.

It was an awful and bad experience.

The level of quality is very low and the teachers were rude.

Most of them cant even speak proper English.

The treatment to my daughter was bad and she never learned anything proper there and not happy.

I noticed they are not hiring proper tutor with the fees and standard claimed by them.

Totally bad bad experiences.

We tried a couple of Montessori preschools in Bangsar which is where we were living. The first was Junior Academy and that was fantastic, but probably one of the most expensive preschools in KL. The other was Children's House. We found that they were pretty disappointing in that they overcrowded the classes, did not provide individual attention so that kids who did not participate were often left aside, and they had a waiting list so were able to keep increasing their fees each year. Furthermore, it is the one kindergarten where my kids were not happy to attend.

The school that we really wanted to place our two kids in was Julia Gabriel Centre which is also in Bangsar. However, the high cost and long waiting list prevented that.

I do have the same bad experiences with trinity kids as well.

My husband decided sending my kids to ISP nursery.

It will be good to check properly before sending instead believing into the marketing gimmick.
