Hi there,

I have a 3 months visa and I would like to extend it for 1 month. Is it possible? if so how much would it be?

Thanks

Priscilla

Hi LibelulaAzul,

Welcome to Expat.com :)

I suggest you to have a look at the articles about visa here : https://www.expat.com/en/guide/asia/vie … visas.html , it might help.

Hi LibelulaAzul,

One-month extension should be possible but you'll  have to go through a visa/travel agent who will most likely charge an exorbitant service fee, especially in Da Nang/Hoi An.
Expect anything between $100 to $250.
Here's a similar discussion from 2016.

I did it once in 2015 and it cost me $100 (in HCM) for a one-month extension.
IMO doing a quick border-run to get a new VOA could be a cheaper option.

Please be careful about visa agents in tourist areas.
A few cases of fake visas have cropped up recently here in HCMC.
They will put you on an immigration blacklist if you're nabbed with a fake one.

Good luck!
