hey, Thank u for the fast reply :)My major is Tourism Management, and my minor is Event management, so I'm looking for an event company mainly, or smth in the Marketing and Sales department. I have to start lates in August, because I finish in the middle of July and dont want to waste time and it should be between 7 and 10 months. But I really didnt expect it to be so difficult. What company u r working for? and how long r u planning to stay?

ooo i'm working in a consulting and outsoucing company. i've been here since a month and i'm staying here till mid of august..it's true that is very hard to find a job or a training here.. where do you live? and how long have you been here?

Petra Rueva

hey :) I am living in Rangsit, dont know if u have heard of it. It's like 1 hour from the city by taxi with no traffic haha My university is here. I came beginning of April after I spent 3 months in Bali and will stay officially till 10th of July, but still hoping to find an internship, so I can stay longer.Where in France r u from and how did u decide to come here alone, I find it a bit scary  :SS

Oki i was student in international trade and administration, in paris Creteil;
and i had to find a training abroad, i've been searcing for it for so long time, but never manage to get one, so as i wanted to be in asia (i've already done a training in KL malaysia) i wanted to change experience, and then i came here, alone, wishing i'll be luckier and look for a training. Hopefully i found it quickly. i'm living in Bangkok, not far from victory monument. and thats it... its quite kool here.

Petra Rueva

really sounds like u r very lucky :)How did u find accommodation and do u pay a lot for it? is your company international or mainly thai people? sorry for all the questions,, but I wanna know everything haha My problem is that I have a return ticket for the 10th of July and if I don't find anything till then, I will go back to Holland, that's why now I am under a lot of pressure and try all possibilities. Hopefully I will find something:)

miraaly

Yeah of course i wish you all the best and lot of luck.. for real, cuz i know how hard it is.. ive been here also.No my company is owned by a franch men but only thai girl. The boss is in france now,
after finding my training i found a accom, but its quite expensive for the room, no internet no tv, nothing lol... but is as 5min walking from work. so its oki then.

Petra Rueva

sounds good, after all here the location is the most important I think, otherwise it's very hard to travel all the time and it's expensive. Thanks for all the informaion, I hope I will be lucky like u :))) R u attending the meetings of expat-blog? I am registered since february but haven't ried yet..sounds like a lot of fun :)

cheers

Hi Petra, there is a van service from Future Park Rangsit to Jatujak Market.  You will get a seat and its air con plus price is cheap, not more than 30 baht.  The van ends at the BTS and MRT station in Jatujak thus you can catch the train to your destination.  Its much cheaper than taxi.

Wish you all the best to get a job as an intern and most of the events company are Thai unlike International Ad Agencies.
