Hi i have a question to ask?so today my bf is coming to singapore as a tourist visa, and he came to study before like about 7monthe.So now his coming back to visit his brother here, but then the immigration denied his entry and hold him, then now the want him to send back to India and banned him.So could you give me any advice if what could be the issue about my bf situation?looking forward for your response thanx

Nemodot

Nothing, as you give no real details. He got banned, so he will face "bans" (or serious hassles) not only to Singapore but USA, UK, Europe, Australia, Korea and New Zealand.

So a serious issue. Indians have a "weak" passport so he needed to be careful, or he has overstayed somewhere else and a previous ban was found.

@Emelyn1991 As you gave no details, it is not possible for us to know why your friend was denied entry. Did he ask the immigration officers? If so, what did they say?

Since you mentioned he has a brother in Singapore: If he already visited a few times before and/or stayed much longer than the average tourist (4 days), this could have raised suspicions.

In any case, he will now have to contact ICA and clear up the matter, before he can travel to Singapore again. (Alternatively, he could of course avoid visiting Singapore - it's just a small dot on the world map!)

@Ulipret707 Check the ICA website: All contact details (incl. email) are listed there!

Hi, I am having same issue. Please advise what happened next. Did you get the approval to enter SG? Were you being able to work in that company? Thanks a lot.
